Adventure Foundation Pakistan (AFP) which has always taken a lead in mountain related sports and environment conservation activities in Pakistan, took the initiative and launched a project, “National Children Mountain Conservation Meet” in July 2002 in this connection to create awareness about significance of Mountain ecology among the new generation of Pakistan.
Under this project, more than a hundred children from all parts of Pakistan are taken to mountain areas of Pakistan every year in summer. During the Meet children undertake eco study projects in the target area along with other activities aiming at conservation of environment |
